Educational Support & Development Organization of Afghanistan (ESDOA) is a local, non-government, and not-for-profit organization that has been registered according to the final decision on 11/08/2014 by the Supreme Evaluation Commission of NGO by the Ministry of Economy. ESDOA is committed to integrity and the rule of law in all of its conducts with its stockholders. ESDOA specializes in education development, health promotion, and social care sectors in Afghanistan.

ESDOA’s Relevant Past Experience

ESDOA has a ten-year track record of designing and implementing educational projects related to training and aid distribution projects in Afghanistan. ESDOA successfully conducted the projects to its beneficiaries and the respective donor such as Abdul Madjid Zabuli (AMZ) Foundation.

ESDOA supplements its expertise in conducting training projects related to health care and education with specific and credible knowledge of the health and education sectors. It will inform ESDOA’s efforts to tailor the training curriculum and material tools to meet the training needs.

Our most recent projects focused on education development and health promotion.

EDUCATION Development

ESDOA has promoted the right to education by supporting schools, training teachers, and promoting educational activities. We ensure:

  • facilitating positive change in teaching and learning in primary school and helping these school’s function as robust, evidence-based, student-centered learning communities.
  • Outreach to families and reintegration of children in schools.
  • Creating spaces for learning and starting vocational training with the help of teachers chosen among the community.
  • Specific training courses in the areas of intervention such as New Teaching Method, Life Skills, Class Management Based on Behavior Change Technique, Educational Leadership, and computer training.
HEALTH PROMOTION

we guarantee access to vital, primary, and secondary medical services, enabling people to increase control over, and improve their health. We provide:

  • Distribution of health kits to the population.
  • Support to the local health systems to provide access to primary and secondary health services to men, women, and children affected by humanitarian disasters or living under vulnerable conditions.
  • Engaging and empowering individuals and communities to choose healthy behaviors and make changes that reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases and other morbidities.
